Anastasia & Callaway
[/size] Anastasia groaned, covering her ears with her paws. Sofie's kits were cute and all, but they were so loud! All day and night they mewled and cried and just... ugh. Asia couldn't wait until they were old enough to actually talk, and so she could do things with them. They were only a few days old and their eyes weren't even open yet. Asia hadn't gotten much sleep lately, and now she contemplated getting away. She hadn't visited any of her other friends for a while anyway. She stood up, being careful not to wake Sofie, who was sleeping after being up all night, and padded out of the alley way and into the street.
Who should I visit... Anastasia tilted her head, padding down the street. She looked around, and after realizing which neighborhood she had wandered into, she decided who she would visit.
She looked down each alley until she found the one she recognized. It had the big, cardboard box that had once held a huge TV. Inside the box, the corner of a light blue blanket stunk out. This was definitely the place. With a big grin, Anastasia padded into the alley.
"Gracie!" She called out for her spotted friend. But instead of a light brown head, a silver head poked out from inside the box. It was Gracie's brother, Cal.
"Oh, hey Cal. Is Gracie here?" Anastasia asked. At first, Cal looked confused, almost as if he didn't know who she was talking about. But then a light went off and he cleared his throat.
"Yeah, she's sleeping in here." He replied. He stepped out of the box, his lean muscles rippling under his pelt. Asia was secretly scared of him, with his broad shoulder and the long scar that scored down his face. He was obviously strong, and she hoped she would never find out how strong.
Cal bumped the box with his haunches and called for his sister. He said her name so quietly though it was inaudible to her. Asia sat down and waited patiently for Gracie to come out.

Sophia was curled in the back of the box, dozing lightly. It was a boring day, so what better way to deal with it than sleep? Or at least try to. She wasn't having much luck, though, especially since the nightmares were starting to come back. They weren't too bad, just enough to prevent her from falling asleep. But she definitely didn't want to leave home, not alone, so attempting to nap was her only option.
Of course, when she heard Cal call her name into the box (along with that completely unnecessary bump), she let out a relieved sigh, uncurling herself from her corner to head towards the outside. Cal's voice did have a soft, warning undertone, though she knew what to expect. She had taken to calling herself a different name out in public ever since the...incident, just to prevent Damon from being able to easily track her down. So while to her family she was Sophia, she was Gracie to her friends, a name Cal had picked out for her. While she didn't like having two names, it kept her safe, and that was what she was mostly concerned about. Besides, having a separate name had helped calm her down and let her go outside without panicking.
Sophia blinked as she stepped outside, pausing before her eyes focused on who was waiting. A grin quickly appeared on her muzzle and she stepped forward to happily greet her friend. "Asia!" she purred. She hadn't seen her friend in so long! "What are you doing here?" Oh, maybe she wanted to go out! Sophia felt an excited rush fill her, hoping that Anastasia would would suggest the idea. They had to catch up, after all! And Callaway was sure to say yes. Asia was trustworthy and wouldn't get them into any kind of trouble.

[/size] Anastasia smiled and bumped heads with Gracie. "I came to hang out! I kinda wanted to get out and we hadn't seen each other for a few months, so I thought I'd see what you were up to." She purred, her paws tingling with the urge to go! But she knew Gracie couldn't go anywhere without letting Cal know. He was super protective, just like how Dominic and Cooper we of her. It was nice to have a friend with overprotective siblings like her own.
"That is, if Cal is alright with it." She said with a smirk, which make Cal roll his turquoise eyes.
"I'm not some warden, Anastasia. Gracie can go if she wants." He said, lashing his tail before disappearing inside the box. Asia heard him flop down and his long, spotted tail-tip flicked around, making light bumping sounds.
"Well, that settles it." Anastasia said with a giggle. Then quieter, she added. "Let's go, I wanna take you somewhere you've never been before!"

Sophia purred happily at her friend, pleased that she was obviously thinking the same thing. It would be great to get out of this box and hang out with Asia! She couldn't help but giggle when Anastasia made sure to request Cal's permission first. She just knew him too well. Sure, he almost always said yes nowadays (Sophia was almost two years old, after all!), but it was just learned habit to wait for his consent to go. "Have fun, Cal!" she then called teasingly into the box after her brother, giving him an affectionate smile before eagerly turning back to Asia. Now for the fun part!
"Oh, where are we going?" she asked eagerly, practically squirming with excitement at her friend's words. Somewhere she'd never been? Where could that be? They'd been practically everywhere in the city (except for the darker spots that both she-cats avoided), so then where? "C'mon, Asia, tell me!"

[/size] Anastasia laughed and lead Gracie away from the box and into the street. "Okay, we're going to visit my brothers, Oliver and Caleb." She explained. "In the country! You're gonna love it there!" She smiled, her ears and tail standing high. She was so excited! Now she could get away from the squealing kits (don't get me wrong, she absolutely loves her nephews and niece) and the overall busy life of the city. It was just too much right now, and she missed the calm days of the country. And of course, she missed her brothers, now that Mason was always busy with the kittens.
"Just tell me when you're ready, and I'll lead us there!" Asia flicked Gracie's shoulder with her tail and bounced up and down on her paws, which were still tingling with excitement.

Sophia was silent through her friend's explanation, and practically exploded with joy when she finished. "Really?!"she squeaked, eyes wide as she body trembling with joy as her tail waved happily through the air, "The country! Oh, I've always wanted to go to the country!" It seemed so nice there, but she could never convince Cal to take her, and he certainly wouldn't let her go alone. But going with Asia, that was perfect! It would be so much fun! And she could even meet more of Anastasia's ridiculously huge family!
A happy purr escaped the little she-cat as she bumped shoulders with her friend. "Of course I'm ready! Let's go~!" Oh, she couldn't wait!

Anastasia
[/size] Anastasia waved her tail in the eyes. "Okay, come on!" She pranced forward with Gracie by her side. After crossing several streets and dodging cars and other various vehicles, they finally got to the calmer part of town. The houses started to get farther and farther away from each other and the smell of car exhaust was replaced by the fresh, clean air that had just a hint of cow manure. The cold pavement was replaced by springy grass. Asia raced forward and flopped onto her back, rolling around in the long, dark green grass.
"I love the smell of grass!" She purred, sneezing as a piece went up her nose. "Come roll in it, Gracie! It feels sooo good!" Asia laid on her back and took a deep breath, watching the clouds go by. They'd just relax for a few moments, let their aching paws take a break, then they'd do find Oliver and Caleb's barn. It was only about a thirty minute walk away and Asia couldn't wait to find her brothers and tell them about Mason's new little family! They won't believe me! Asia thought with a giggle. The whole family knew Mason was asexual and Asia was the only one who thought he might -- might! -- be able to find a mate. And she was right! Ha!
Asia flopped back over on her belly and rested her head on her paws, inhaling the sweet smell of grass. God how she loved it here.

Sophia happily followed after Asia, passing through the bits of the city she knew, but eventually they reached the outskirts, where Sophia had never stepped a paw in. Her eyes were wide as she watched the city gradually shrink and transform into clean air and long grass. It was amazing! She could just stand here and admire the place and be content, but then she watched Asia, grinning as her friend rolled around like a kitten. The brown she-cat then ran ahead to catch up before tumbling over to roll in the soft grass, a loud purr and a gasp of joy escaping her at the action. She rolled around for a few moments longer, looking absolutely ridiculous as she stretched and rubbed against the grass, but it was just so nice! Sure, the city had grass, but it was the short coarse stuff that the humans preferred. This, though! It was wonderful and dark and soft and long and just good! She finally relaxed on her back beside Asia, eyes wide with happiness as she glanced at her friend with a breathless grin.
"I'm gonna live here someday." she then declared with a laugh, a happy sigh escaping her as she looked up at the clear sky, no buildings blocking her view. "This is so nice, Asia!" She couldn't believe that their fun day had only just begun; they still had to find Oliver and Caleb, and Sophia would get to see a real barn! She simply grinned and purred with pure joy before glancing back over at her friend. "Thanks for taking me with you out here, Asia." she meowed sincerely. "Though now me and Cal's box is gonna seem so boring!" she then added with a giggle. She didn't even want to go back home to the stinky city now! How could any cat pick that place over here?

Anastasia
[/size] "I love this place, but sometimes it's just a bit too slow-paced for me. I like being able to go back and forth." Asia smiled and stood up, shaking the grass pieces out of her pale fur.
"Okay! Let's go find Olly and Caleb now." Anastasia bounced throw the long grass, almost like a rabbit as she fought to get through the long patches. It was so much fun! Some of the grass grew taller than her head and jumping was her only way to get through it.
Soon, she spotted the small barn, with it's very faded red paint and the one broken window. Still, it was still in pretty good shape for an abandoned barn. "Come on!" Asia giggled and raced forward. As she neared it, she crouched down until she got to the door. It was permanently closed, but there was s hole underneath. Asia wriggled underneath, letting her eyes adjust to the dark room. "Olly, Caleb?! It's Anastasia!"

Sophia rolled her eyes with amusement, grinning up at the sky. "I could stay here forever." she decided, pausing silently for a moment before watching Anastasia get up. The she-cat then picked herself up off the ground, shaking briefly, though her short fur wasn't too much of a problem to get the grass out. She then grinned, her excitement from earlier swiftly returning at the mention of meeting Asia's brothers. "Alright~!" she agreed happily before following after Asia, clumsily making her way through the tall grass, though still having fun the whole way.
She paused with wonder when she saw the barn, eyes widening with joy. A real barn! It wasn't the perfect bright red and white like in the stories, but it was still just as amazing! She purred at the sight, almost forgetting to follow Asia towards the small building. She quickly scampered along, though, pausing before following Asia underneath the closed door of the barn. She glanced around, eyes quickly becoming adjusted to the darkness inside and soon scanning the area for any sight of Asia's brothers.
Oliver was settled back in the barn, resting on a haystack when he heard the call of his sister. The patched snow-shoe's eyes widened briefly with disbelief before swiftly leaping off the haystack to hurry towards the entrance to the barn.
"Asia!" he meowed in greeting when he arrived, eyes wide with surprised joy, "What are you doing here? You hardly ever visit anymore." His voice was soft and gentle, and he leaned forward to affectionately touch his muzzle to her forehead. His eyes then shifted over to Sophia, a smile quickly appearing on his face. "And who's your friend? If I knew you were bringing company, I would have tidied up a bit in here." His smile grew with friendly amusement before glancing over his shoulder, hoping his brother wasn't about to ignore Asia-and-friend's arrival.

[/size] Anastasia purred as she greeted her brothers, rubbing her cheek against Oliver's.
"The place looks fine! And this is Gracie, a good friend of mine." She meowed, flicked Gracie's shoulder with her tail-tip. She then watched Theodore crawl out from his next of hay and walk over to the small group.
"Hey, Asia!" He purred, headbutting her. He hadn't seen his sister in months, he was curious to find out what she had been up to. Him and Oliver hadn't really been up to much, and he absolutely loved when his sister visited. He looked over to her friend down, impressed by her appearance. She was quite beautiful, with bright blue eyes and a light brown spotted coat."Hello, Gracie. My name's Theodore. Nice to meet ya." He greeted her, his voice only slightly carrying a southern accent as he hadn't been living there long enough to pick one up.
Anastasia licked Theodore's ear, sitting down between her brothers.
"You will not believe what's been happening over in the city! Crazy stuff!" She giggled, referring to Mason's new family.

Sophia couldn't help but shy away from the two toms, though she kept the friendly smile on her face. They seemed nice enough, both polite country boys. Her trust towards toms wasn't quite what is used to be, not after Damon, but she didn't think it would take too much for her to feel comfortable around these two. "A-ah...it's nice to meet you." she then meowed softly, "Both of you." She couldn't help but give the second brother (Caleb?) a small smile though, especially at that cute little accent. Not quite there, but enough to make him all the more attractive.
Oliver smiled at Gracie, nodding politely. "And I'm Oliver, though I'm sure you've already figured that out." His friendly smile grew at her small giggle, "It's nice to meet you, Gracie~" He watched her for a moment (she was a cute little thing) before turning back to his sister, one eyebrow quirking with interest. "Crazy stuff?" he repeated softly before rolling his eyes with an amused smile, "Well go on then! It must be pretty crazy if you came all the way here to tell us." His voice was teasing as he brushed his nose across her cheek before he settled down beside her, making sure to wave his tail to invite Sophia over.
The little she-cat smiled, shifting to crouch among the three siblings, though not quite letting her fur touch the two tom's. She paused at Asia's mention of 'crazy stuff', though, ears lifting with curiosity. "Yeah, Asia, let's hear the news~!" she insisted. Had something excited happened with her family back home? Ohh, what could it be?!

[/size] Anastasia grinned, enjoying having all three of them hanging on her every word. "You will never guess who just had kits!" She meowed, a slight trill to her words. She waited a few seconds, watching their expressions change before announcing the answer. "Mason!"
"No way!" Theodore's mouth dropped open. "But he's unable to, you know, fall in love. Who's the girl who roped him into it?"
"The girl is my friend, Sofie. And she didn't rope him in, it just sort of... happened." Asia shrugged. "But anyway, they had three boys and a girl. Taggart, Fallon, Haynes, and Robbie. Well, Robyn, but I like to call her Robbie. And they are all absolutely adorable!" With a grin, she concluded her story. Now her brothers knew they were uncles! She wondered what was going on in their minds.
Theodore was shocked to here that Mason had sired a litter. Out of all of his siblings, he never would of though Mason would be the first one to have kits, let alone have kits at all! Is this a joke? He thought. Nah, Asia wouldn't lie about something like this. Theodore chuckled, then noticed Gracie was sitting a little but away from him. He flicked her flank with his tail and gave her a warm smile, his green eyes glowing.

Sophia's eyes widened with thrilled surprise, a happy grin exploding on her face. Sure, Mason was supposed to be asexual right? But now he had kittens, and kittens were cute! And with Sofie...Sophia had met her once or twice through Asia, and she seemed like a nice she-cat. "That's awesome!" she meowed happily, "You'll have to take me to see them when we get back!" She just loved kittens~ So cute and adorable.
Oliver frowned at the news, obviously doubting his sister's words. He fell silent, his mind obviously working like crazy to make sense of Asia's words. Mason...with kittens? But he wasn't attracted to anyone, so how...? Was it an accident? Were the kits even his? He almost expressed his doubt to his sister, but she seemed so convinced that they were his, so he allowed himself to smile and enjoy the news. "That is crazy." he agreed with a purr, "But that's great for him! Our family is growing bigger~ You'll have to find someone next, Asia~" he teased with a playful nudge before grinning over at Caleb, "So that means we're uncles now! Makes us sound kind of old, I think.."
Sophia couldn't help but laugh at the brothers' reactions, a wide smile on her maw. It was probably a great feeling to have your family grow. She hoped Cal could find a mate soon so she could have little nieces and nephews to spoil, too! She was silent for a minute before suddenly jumping at the brush of Caleb's tail against her flank. Her heart raced for a moment, almost panicking, but she forced herself to be calm, giving the tom a small smile, though she didn't shift any closer to him. He was just being nice, and Sophia really wanted to get to know him. So she needed to stop freaking out over any touch she was going to get from a stranger. Hesitating for just a moment, taking a deep breath while she did so, she then scootched a little closer, her smile widening just a bit at the other tom before turning her attention back to Asia.
Oliver frowned just a bit at the exchange, glancing uncertainly at Caleb before back at Sophia, a bit of worry obviously in his eyes before he sighed and glanced back at his sister, his smile soon returning, "I guess we'll have to come visit them soon, yes?"

[/size] "Of course I'll take you, Gracie! And Theo and Olly, you have to come!" She purred, growing so excited. These new kittens meant her brothers might come and visit! They hardly ever came and visited anymore, and she missed them. She didn't pay attention to the exchange between Theo and Gracie, but Theo flashed her a smile when she scooted closer.
"Do, now that we've cause up a bit, what do you girls wanna do?" He asked. Him and Olly had already done really much everything there was to do in the country, and so maybe his sister would have an idea. But Asia stayed silent so Theo looked over at Oliver. "Olly? Do you have any ideas?" Then he flashed his green eyes over to the spotted she-cat beside him. "Or what about you, Gracie? Is there anything you want to do in particular?"
