NAME: Lee GENDER: Female AGE: 1.3 years RESIDENCE: City
APPEARANCE:
PELT COLOR: Brown MARKINGS: tan patches all through her fur. PELT LENGTH: Medium - fluffy EYE COLOR: Light chestnut brown BUILD: Underneath all of her fur Lee actually has a slim, very feminine build. She has small, round paws and an overall 'delicate' air about her. OTHER:
PERSONALITY: Lee has experienced a lot in a relatively short amount of time. Before the fire she was a bundle of fun. She was playful, rambunctious and just a tom-boy through and through. After the fire that killed most of her family she became much more reclusive. For moons afterwards she wouldn't speak and it's only just recently that she's begun to talk again. She's afraid of anything that even remotely resembles fire and will either flee or start having a panic attack.
Underneath all of that Lee is the same she-cat she was before, she's just still coping from that traumatic experience. So if you are patient enough to get to know her and get past her shyness you'll find the same playful, loving tom-boy she-cat she was before.
RELATIONSHIPS:
MOTHER: Lia - Leanly built long-haired calico she-cat with golden eyes. (Deceased) FATHER: Theseus - Large dark grey tabby tom with white paws and dark blue eyes. (Deceased) SIBLINGS: Ares - Large dark grey tabby tom with white paws and golden eyes. (Jay) Michael - Tall long-haired ginger tabby tom with blue eyes and white paws. (Open, believed to be dead) Rene - Small calico she-cat with blue eyes. (Deceased) CRUSH/MATE: Open OTHER: -
HISTORY:
Lia met Theseus when she only just barely a year old. The tom was easily two years older than her, but she was still deeply infatuated with him and after much attempts of seducing the tom finally slept with the she-cat before leaving.
Lia was heartbroken when Theseus left but when she learned that she was carrying his kits she became ecstatic. Her parents were deeply disappointed in their daughter but helped her through her pregnancy and a few weeks later Lia gave birth to three toms. The eldest reminded her so strongly of Theseus that she named him after another god, Ares, in an attempt to please the tom if he ever came back. The other two toms she named Michael and Luke.
With the help of their grandparents Ares and his brothers grew up in the wild and free of the wilderness. Ares and Michael both shoot up like grass and by the time they were seven moons both toms were taller than their mother with Ares starting to gain the powerful form of his father while Michael was more lanky. Luke, however, remained small but he too gained lean muscle from all of the times he and his brothers wrestled with each other. The three toms were close but when they turned 10 moons old disaster struck. The brothers had gone off into the woods to explore and there they encountered a fox. A scuffle followed which left all three toms wounded and the fox dead. They managed to make their way back home but the following night Luke passed away from his wounds.
A few moons after Luke's death Lia ran into Theseus once again. Excited to see the tom-cat again she eagerly showed Theseus his two remaining sons and the tom-cat was pleased with what he saw. His sons were both strong and capable, proven fighters. Promising traits to only be a year old. He agreed to stay with Lia but requested that they move out of the wilderness and to his home in the country.
It wasn't long after the family settled into Theseus' barn that Lia became pregnant again; this time with three girls. The youngest was still born, but Lia named her anyway. Ariel, Lee and little Rene. The two remaining girls grew up under the watchful eyes of their parents and the even more guarded eyes of their brothers.
Not that Lee minded much; she loved her older brothers, Ares in particular. Wherever the tom-cat was Lee wasn't far behind, which inadvertently lead to some problems as she got older. Never being one to hang out with her mother, Lee rough-housed with her brothers much as Luke had. In fact, Lee was told on numerous occasions that she acted just like her deceased older brother.
Lee was only 11 moons old when disaster stuck. The country had been experiencing a drought and the hay was dry and brittle. Lee wasn't sure what had happened but somehow a fire started and with the hay being so dry, it spread quickly.
Their barn caught on fire and the smoke was so thick that you could barely see a paw infront of you. Lee didn't remember much other than Ares grabbing by her scruff and taking her away from their burning home before he passed out, Lee following him not long after. When they both awoke the fire had died out, leaving nothing but black and ash in its wake. Lee and her brother went back to the remains of the barn and there they found the charred bodies of their parents and though they didn't see the bodies of Michael or Ariel they believed them to be dead as well.
Lee was depressed for moons afterwards. Though she wasn't what most would call close to her parents or other siblings, it was still traumatic to have almost everyone in your family ripped away from you at once. For moons Lee wouldn't speak. She'd blindly follow Ares, completely dependent on her older brother for her care. She's started to go back to normal, now, though she has days when all she can feel is heat, all she can smell is smoke and all she can hear are screams of her parents telling them to flee. On those days Lee will crouch low to the ground, her fur bristling as if she had been threatened and her muscles would lock on her bones. The only way to get her out of this state is for Ares to come and gently tell her, over and over that it's ok. Eventually, the she-cat will relax and allow Ares to lead her back home.
