PERSONALITY:

Ryder is a proud cat and he doesn't let anyone or anything hurt his pride. He is extremely confident in every aspect: his appearance, his skills, his personality. He believes he is a very likable feline and never admits that he can be arrogant and conceited. But of course, he is very arrogant and conceited. He just won't admit it.
Ryder isn't a jerk though. He does care about others, he just doesn't like to show it. He hides his feelings for his family to keep up his tough guy reputation. Sometimes he misses his brothers and his sister, but he doesn't miss his parents too much. He never really bonded with them too much anyways.
Confident, proud, and conceited pretty much sums up Ryder. He had a soft spot but he doesn't like to show it. But once this guy starts to like you, or even love you, he'd do anything for you.

HISTORY:

Otter and Bear were best friends as kits, and when they found each other again as adults, they immediately fell in love. Soon after Bear confessed his love to Otter, the she-cat found herself pregnant and gave birth to Ryder and his siblings.

Ryder's kithood was pretty uneventful. His aunt, Cloud, also had a litter soon after he was born, consisting of six kittens. Living with so many siblings and cousins made it hard for Ryder to get the attention a young kit needs, and so as soon as he was old enough, he set off on his own. He left his quiet country home and set out for the city, hoping for some attention. In the part of the city he moved to, the cats there were rude and snobby, and soon Ryder began to pick up on their attitude. He doesn't visit the Country too often, though he does miss his sister a lot and he is pretty sure she still lives there. He thinks about visiting every so often, but most of the times he chooses against it, preferring his busy city life.
