Anastasia Why were all of her brothers boring? Night time wasn't for sleeping, it was for excitement and adventures and freedom! No humans walking down the street, cats asleep in their boxes, and the moon shining. Summer nights were warm and pleasant and they made Anastasia content. She loved coming out at night, even though Cooper and Dominic didn't like the idea all that much. She had told them she was going to stay the night with their mother, intent on having a few moments of silence to herself. Well, maybe not silence, more like play-time. However, she lacked a play-mate. That was the only downer about the night.
Asia kept her eyes open for someone, enemies or friends, wanting to prove to her brothers she could take care of herself. She could handle a little blood on her paws, no big deal. "What to do, what to do." She mused out loud. She was bored, that was for sure. Now she was just as boring at her brothers. Dang it.
Her paws finally took her to something worth wile. Her paws hit asphalt, which then turned to cement, which then turn to plush grass. And before her was some sort of human contraption. There are long blue and yellow tubes and tall metal bars. I know what this is. I've seen little human kittens playing on this thing. A playground, I think it's called. She sat down and tilted her head, staring at it for a minute. There were no humans on it now. She was the only one here. It wouldn't hurt to play on it for a little bit, right? A large grin spread across her face and Asia sprang forward, leaping up onto a wood platform. She climbed up the wooden pole until she was near the metal bars. "I'm at acro-cat!" She laughed at her own pun, balancing on the metal until she would spring onto the other side.

Luca hummed softly as he padded through the city, eyes bored as he glanced around his night-covered home. He had just left the deeper bits of the city, where some of the more corrupted cats lived. Luca himself wasn’t one of these cats, oh no, but the darker cats were strangely good company, and he got quite a bit of attention for not being one of them. And Luca liked attention, so all was good with him. It had taken him forever to get the stench of nip from his pelt, though.
The gray and white tom sighed, breathing in the clear air (or as clear as it could get in the city) as he headed away from the center of his city home. Sometimes he wished he could just keep walking, to head straight into the country and on into the wilderness. But he never got that far, always stopping. He had always wanted to travel; the whole reason he had initially left home with Emiline was so he could see the world, but life had a way of smothering one’s dreams. So Luca had stayed confined to the city, hoping for the day when something (or someone) would yank him away from the concrete prison.
The young tom’s ears flicked as a she-cat’s voice reached his ears, and his blue eyes shifted towards the direction of the park. Was someone in danger…? He cautiously approached, not sure if there was much he could do if someone was being harmed, but a small smile reached his face as he spotted a snow-shoe she-cat bouncing around and playing on the human kit’s stuff. Well. That was a new. Luca hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should just turn away and return to his alley home. But that would be no fun, would it? Besides, that cat looked like she needed a play-mate. So the tom boldly stepped forward, bounding the distance between himself and the human playground. He paused underneath, back legs tensing before springing onto one of the metal bars that the other cat had been occupting herself with. “Ah..!” His paws struggled for a moment to find a hold on the strange surface of the rounded metal, but when he found his balance, he glanced up at the other cat with a wide grin. “You don’t mind if I join you, right? You looked a little lonely up here all on your own.” Hopefully she wouldn't mind too much if he joined her. Besides, two was better than one, right?

Anastasia Anastasia almost lost her balance as the strange new cat jumped up in front of her, but she curled her toes over the bars so she was able to hang on. She got a good look at him: gray and white fur with stunning blue eyes. He seemed very friendly and a large smile spread across her maw. "Sure!" She trilled, moving onto the side of the monkey bars and walking across it like a tight-rope. "It's not very fun playing alone anyways." She waved her tail in the air, taking small baby-steps until she leaped down onto the little platform below. It lead up to a set of stairs, only three or four steps, and then there was a bridge. I can't believe I've never come here below! She leaped up onto the first stair, then sat down to face the tom. "I'm Anastasia!" She smiled, narrowing her eyes mischievously. "And you're it!" Laughing, she raced up the stairs and leaped onto the bridge. It shook a little under her weight and as she ran across it, rattling against the metal chains. Then she found herself in front of a bright green slide and she looked down it skeptically. But then she sucked it up and leaped on it, sliding down while laughing gleefully. Her paws scraped the bark dust as she leaped down and looked around for the gray and white tom. Oops, she took off before she could learn his name. Silly girl.

Luca grinned as the she-cat accepted him into her game instead of running away. He had just jumped up onto the plaything out of nowhere, right? Thank goodness she wasn't a skittish cat. The tom purred happily, tail flicking with excitement as he watched her hop down to the steps. What sort of game would they play? It had been so long since he had just relaxed and allowed himself to do something silly.
Ah. So her name was Anastasia? A mouthful, but a very pretty mouthful. Hell, the she-cat herself was quite attractive, now that he paused to take a good look at her. But Luca had no time to admire her or to even respond with his own name before she took off again after announcing the game of tag. Luca's wide grin returned as he took off with a laugh, leaping to the stairs and swiftly bolting onto the bridge. It wobbled quite a bit more than he had expected, and his eyes widened with surprise as he toppled to the side and fell to the ground in quite the undignified manner. Well that was embarrassing. But he was on the ground now, and that was where the slide led, right? And his new friend was making her way down that very same slide. He was quickly back on his feet with renewed energy, taking off again towards the bottom of the slide in an attempt to catch her at the bottom. Yes, there! He pounced with a grin, tackling her as gently as possible with a triumphant yowl.
"Well, Miss Anastasia. I'm Luca, and I believe it's your turn to be it." he purred with a wink before scrambling off her with a snicker. The white and gray tom then moved to scamper up the slide, paws slipping a bit, but still managing to heave himself to the top to smirk playfully down at her. "Come on, then~!"

Anastasia Anastasia was surprised to see the tom waiting for her at the end of the slide and she was tagged, making her it. "Aw man!" She whined, but kept a smile on her face. So she finally learned his name. Luca... hmmmmm. She loved it! "Well I'm not gonna be 'it' for long, Luca!" She chased after him up the sleek, green plastic. But her paws slipped and she slid back to the bottom. "Crap!" She hissed. Leaping off the slide, she caught sight of Luca and raced after him. She jumped up on the metal stairs and raced over the platforms, rounding the corners until she could see his glowing blue eyes in the moonlit light. But instead of heading right toward him, she went the opposite direction toward another slide. She crawled down it and leaped onto the barkdust , making as little noise as possible. Then she padded underneath the structure and watched Luca move beneath her, waiting for her chance to strike.

Luca laughed, grinning down at the she-cat as she attempted to follow him up the slide but ended up sliding back down to the slide. The white and gray tom purred with amusement, blue eyes gleaming before he turned away to bolt across the play-place, carefully hopping along the bars he had initially met Anastasia on to get to the other side of the playground. He then paused on top of a metal railing, tail flicking to keep his balance as he glanced around, his heart racing with adrenaline as he tried to spot the she-cat. Where in the world had she gone? The tom frowned, eyes narrowing as he tried to spot her. Well dang. He should have kept her in his sight. Now she really was gonna tag him again. Luca kept silent, the only sound being his panting breath as he scanned the ground below. Surely she was around here somewhere? But where? He hopped off the railing, carefully padding across the wide walkway. "Hmm." he then mused out loud, "Well it seems the darkness has stolen my pretty friend away from me." He smiled as he spoke, hoping to maybe draw some sort of reaction from her to give away her position.

Anastasia Anastasia blushed at his words, but she didn't let him get the best of her. She lowered herself to the ground and continued to watch him move, and it was obvious he was looking for her. Anastasia stalked her prey with her belly fur brushing across the barkdust. There was no way he was getting away from her! She looked around for some way for her to get up on the platform where he was standing. She spotted a little ramp with holes in it, probably for the humans to put their feet into. Quietly, she crawled over to her and put her paws into the holes, hauling herself up on the walkway behind Luca. Eyes narrowed mischievously, she took a couple steps forward then pounced, tackling Luca to the floor with her paws on his shoulders and their nose only in inch away from the other. "TAG!" She shouted with a giggle. "Now you're it!"

Luca stood warily on the walkway, ears flicking for any sort of sound that would give Asia away. Hmm. She sure knew how to stay quiet. He took a few cautious steps froward, and his ears only picked up the sound of the she-cat's paw steps when it was too late. He whirled around to see her and hopefully avoid whatever attack she was planning, but was instead met with a tackle to the floor. A surprised yowl escaped the tom at the impact before he burst out laughing, relaxing underneath the she-cat as he grinned up at her. "You're too good at this." he purred breathlessly when his laughs had subsided, his eyes gleaming as he met her own blue gaze. "Mm." He paused before his smile turned mischievous and he leaned forward to lightly bump their noses together. "Tag back~" he murmured, lingering for just a moment to simply admire her (he certainly hadn't lied when he called her pretty) before squirming to kick at her stomach. Not in the fashion that he would use to dispel an enemy, but in a much gentler way that would tickle her more than anything, just to allow him to wiggle his way out from beneath her.

Anastasia "Hey, no tag backs!" Anastasia squealed, leaping after Luca after he wiggled out of her grasp. She grabbed his tail in her jaw, gently of course, but rough enough to firmly tug him backwards. She then leaped onto his back (like he was giving her a piggy back ride), nibbling his ear and tousling his head tuft with her paw. "Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater!" She teased. Then she leaned forward and leaped off his back, landing gracefully on the walkway in front of him. "Now you can chase after me once again!" Asia giggled, prancing away as fast as she could so that Luca couldn't tag her back again.

Luca grinned at her exclamation, though his eyes widened with shock when he felt her mouth clamp around his tail. Oh no. His paws scrabbled on the surface, trying to hold on to prevent from being yanked backwards by the she-cat, but failed as he landed on his stomach with a huff. He squirmed underneath her weight as she leapt on him, laughing at her antics as he gave her a playful grin. "Says the one who has me pinned to the ground!" he teased back, letting out a relieved sigh when she finally released him and leapt away.
"Ah, I do think you are too good at this game, my pretty friend!" he called out as he quickly leapt to his feet to race after her, leaping onto the railings in the hopes of gaining an advantage with higher ground, "And I don't want to admit that you have me beat, but I dunno how to keep up with a little sneak like you!" His tone was friendly, even affectionate towards this new and fun friend he had made, and his eyes gleamed with joy at their game as he sought out the other cat.

Anastasia Anastasia giggled and slid to a stop. "So you finally admit defeat, hm?" She smiled, crouching down and waving her tail. "Alrighty then, no more tag!" She walked closer over and blinked up at him, her blue eyes shining. She looked up at the sky, which was completely clear save for a cloud or two. The moon shone brightly, slightly larger than a half moon and hundreds of stars glittered against the navy blue sky. It really was a beautiful night and Asia was glad she had decided to stay up tonight. She would of missed this wonderful night and she would have never met her new friend. "So, now what, Luca?" She asked. There wasn't anything to do anymore since their game of tag was over. Asia flicked an ear and looked around. It wasn't very often that she got this play structure to herself, since it was only vacant at this time at night. She walked toward the edge of the platform and looked down and around, trying to find something to do. There were several slides and a long line of swings that moved slightly as the breeze shook them. Then there were several flights of stairs, poles to slide down on, and nets to climb to get up onto higher platforms. The possibilities were virtually endless!

Luca grinned up at the she-cat, rolling his shoulders in a carefree shrug. "An unfairly won victory for yourself~" he teased with a laugh before stepping forward to greet her now that they weren't chasing each other like kittens all over the playset. He gave her a wide smile, tail twitching with the rush that their game had given him. He was then silent for a moment before softly humming at her question, watching her for a few seconds longer before letting his gaze sweep across the surrounding area. Hmm. He certainly wasn't ready to retire for the night, not yet. But what could they do now?
"Mm, well I'm fine with anything as long as it's with you." he then stated, feeling a faint blush cross briefly across his face. Sure, they were cheesy words, but they were true, right? He wouldn't be hanging around this late with just anycat. He stepped forward to stand beside her for a moment, muzzle just lightly brushing her ear before he shifted to give her a grin, the playful gleam returning to his eyes. "We'll just have to make a game up, then!" he insisted, an excitied laugh escaping him before he leapt onto one of the platforms, "Come on then!"
