Oliver was silent, a weak little smile tugging at his mouth as he listened to his brother. A different kind of normal, huh? He liked that. Maybe Caleb was right. All his worrying had been silly. A weak purr filled his throat, the tom shifting to faintly press his nose against Caleb's cheek with a smile. "Thank you." he murmured. He knew he wasn't going to be completely comfortable with this for some time, but this was a start, right? He had admitted he was gay, and while he wasn't going to start frolicking around and freely flirting with toms now, at least the he had acknowledged who he was.
An amused little smile appeared on the patched tom's face at Caleb's apology for his behavior, Oliver's blue eyes bright with obvious forgiveness. "It's fine, Caleb." he meowed, "And you should confess to her whenever she visits again." He had noticed Gracie's flustered actions whenever she had first visited, and Olly was quite sure Caleb's feelings would be returned. He lightly bumped his shoulder against Caleb's with a smile, the tenseness gone from the young tom as he shifted to walk past his brother. He wasn't completely confident, no, but things were certainly looking better then they had several moments ago.
"Come on, then. We've got some work to do. Especially if you want to clean the place up to impress Gracie." He glanced over his shoulder to grin at his brother before laughing softly as he moved away to begin his work.
