Daedalus takes much more after his father, tending to be more quiet and withdrawn, especially around strangers. It's not that he's shy. He'll certainly approach a cat and start a conversation if needed, and he isn't opposed to starting a fight if he feels that someone close to him is being threatened. He just takes a while to warm up to strangers, often keeping his distance and simply observing the other before ever taking the initiative to approach and get to know another cat. While he does act much more open around close friends and family, he overall is a quiet cat, much more content with listening than actually participating in conversations. He is very passionate about knowledge, though, and if you strive to have an intelligent conversation with him, he certainly won’t bore you.

Dae is the kind of cat who loves to learn, so if you have knowledge to share with him, he’ll be much swifter to open up to you. Of course, on the opposite end of that, he hates ignorance, and if he labels you as such, you’ll hardly get a serious moment of time with him. He tries to avoid the city, simply because he finds the ignorance and violence there to be ridiculous, but he will let himself sneak in every once in a while to try and learn something new.

HISTORY:

Briella and Icarus’ first meeting was simply a fling, and resulted in their first daughter, Hope. Briella raised her alone, though, Icarus unaware that he even had a daughter until one day the two parents came across each other again. Briella brought him to see Hope and told him about their daughter's feline leukemia, a disease that would kill her in three or so years, and Icarus decided to stay to help continue raising their daughter together.

Somewhere along the line, the two truly fell in love, resulting in their second of litter of kittens, which consisted of Daedalus and his siblings. The two cats are now raising the litter and an older (and sicker) Hope together as a family.
