She does not trust anyone, probably not even trusting her litter-mates if they showed up. But around her brother, she is sweet and caring, willing to sacrifice her sleep to stay up with him if he had a nightmare or staying by his side for days if he has a fever. She does her best to manage his hyperactivity and she has a pretty good tolerance for both stress and pain. RELATIONSHIPS:

HISTORY:
Rosamund was normal, for a while. She was raised by two loving parents and fell in love with Diego when she was three years old and soon was expecting. But when she was half way through her pregnancy, her mother was hit by a car. This event made something snap in Rosamund and soon she was hearing voices. She thought they were the voices of the kitten talking to her and she would talk back to them in a loving voice. Diego overheard her a few times but just believed she was talking to her swollen belly and didn't think much about it.
The voices were harmless at first, but once Addilyn, Adalia, and Abel were born, they became violent. The voices told her t kill her kits, either by starvation, suffocation, or even slicing their throats. Rosamund disobeyed the voices, being able to silence them for a while at first, but blocking them out caused her great migraines. Soon she completely closed herself off from her kits to protect them, but the litter saw it as abandonment. Addilyn was never affected too much, but this is how Abel developed his deep-seated fears. Adalia was the oldest and would often try to speak to her mother. Rosamund usually ignored her except for one night when the voices took over.
Addilyn and Abel were settled down beside Diego, sleeping soundly. Adalia had been too, but she woke up from a nightmare and wandered over to Rosamund for comfort. The moment she prodded her mother's shoulder, Rosamund pinned Adalia to the ground and covered her face with a large, dark paw. She would have suffocated the six month old kitten if Diego hadn't awoken and stopped her. Adalia ran off while Diego was wrestling with Rosamund and Addilyn hasn't seen her since.
After realizing what she had done, Rosamund became severely depressed. Diego thought that maybe a new litter of kits would make his mate happy again, and so Rosamund became pregnant with her second litter. Once again she believed she heard the voices of her kits and would talk softly to them. Addilyn was excited for the new kittens, but also extremely scared because of what had happened to Adalia. She stuck close to Abel, the youngest, protecting him when he had his panic attacks and stayed as far away from her mother as possible.
Rosamund snapped even earlier this time and when her three sons were born, she attempted to murder all of them right away. Addilyn and Abel, now five years old, left during the labor, but came back to witness Diego wrestling with Rosamund just like the night Adalia was attacked. Diego managed to knock Rosamund out and scooped up only two of his sons and ran away. Addilyn hasn't seen him since as well.
Addilyn found her remaining younger brother not breathing on the ground beside her mother. She quickly picked him up and set him between her paws, licking his vigorously. Miraculously, she began to breath. Addilyn took care of him until Rosamund awoke and took over, apparently ignorant to what had just happened.
Rosamund's memory came back a few days later. She became outraged not at herself, but at her kits. Her rage was targeted at her older children and she began to beat them daily. Abel got the worst of it and a week later, he just vanished. Addilyn believes he either ran away or that Rosamund murdered him. The latter didn't seem too far-fetched. Being the only remaining from her first litter, Addilyn got the entirety of Rosamund's rage. She was abused daily by her mother, both physically and mentally. The only reason she stuck around was Micah. She had taken over his raising since Rosamund had completely lost her mind and was not fit to mother. It wasn't until Micah was five months that Addilyn finally left, taking her brother with her.
Addilyn has severe anxiety that her mother will come back and find her. She lives with her brother in the center-most part of the city. Even though it's the most dangerous, she is protected from her mother.
