PERSONALITY:

Luca is seemingly quite a vain and proud cat. He knows he’s handsome, and anyone who says otherwise is just crazy. He tends to spend more time grooming his fur to perfection than some she-cats he knows, but it gives him the attention he wants, so he deals with it. He tends to use his looks to get what he wants, both from she-cats and toms, though this leaves him to be quite the lonely cat. He really has no genuine friends. While he does seem like the kind of cat who gets around with others, he truly is a gentleman, and would never use a she-cat for the night.

Luca really isn’t a bad cat, though. He is a sweetheart, just a little self-centered since he seems to think that his looks are the only way he can get cats to pay attention to him. He had a big sense of adventure, and wishes to see the world someday. He just wants a friend or two to join him on his journey, since he doesn’t think he would be able to stand going alone.

This boy has a big heart and lots of love to give out. He loves his sister dearly, though he wishes they could spend just a bit more time together. While he may come off as a self-centered brat, he is really just a lonely guy who is desperate for some friends. He just doesn’t know how to make them.

HISTORY:

Luca and his sister Emiline were born to Bea and Archie, who had been trying for a long time to have a surviving litter of kits. It seemed as if the two just weren’t destined to have kits, and when Bea became pregnant by the end of winter, they weren’t too hopeful. After two miscarriages and a litter dying of pneumonia, they didn’t expect this litter to survive either. But the litter survived the pregnancy, and Bea gave birth to two little kittens. The couple was ecstatic, knowing that there wasn’t much to threaten their kits in the spring and that they would be strong enough to survive the winter. They named the two kits Luca and Emiline after brave and loving family members, hoping this would help them to live. Which, of course, they did.

Luca and Emiline were incredibly close while growing up, getting into all sorts of trouble and mischief. The two exhausted their parents, but Bea and Archie never stopped loving them any less. Luca became the more adventurous kit, often being the source of trouble which he would bring his sister along on. He just loved having fun in the city, learning all he could about his home and figuring out everything he could do to have a good time there.

At the age of eight months, Luca abruptly decided that he wanted to leave the nest. It was a big world out there, and Luca wanted to see every bit of it. He figured he needed to leave early on in life to get a nice start. But he certainly didn’t want to go out alone. So he convinced Emi to leave with him, telling her that they couldn’t stay with Bea and Archie forever. He was sad to go, but his excitement was greater.

He stuck with Emi for a while, though they eventually parted ways as well. Luca, despite wanting to see the world, hasn’t left the city, though he knows every inch of his home. He spends much of his time romancing with cats and just living life, and while he always makes sure to give Emiline a wide smile whenever they pass ways, he is a bit of a lonely cat and wishes they could spend just a bit more time together.
