NAME: Oakley GENDER: Tom AGE: 3 years RESIDENCE: Country
APPEARANCE:
PELT COLOR: mottled shades of brown MARKINGS: bold tabby markings, white paws, chest, and muzzle PELT LENGTH: short and thick EYE COLOR: pale green BUILD: stocky and muscular OTHER: has blue bandana around his neck
PERSONALITY:
At first glance, Oakley seems like a big, gruff country boy, intimidating to those who don’t know him. He just looks like the kind of guy to get into a tussle, which isn’t too far from the truth (he does love a good wrestle). But Oakley certainly isn’t as rough as he may first seem. He is quite a charming fellow, and often is the source of attraction for many a she-cat. He will often come back home to his parent’s barn with a lady at his side, but she rarely stays with him for long. When asked about this, he simply responds that he hasn’t found the right girl for him, and he certainly is patient enough to find her.
Oakley is a big strong guy, but he really is surprisingly kind and gentle. He has a great sense of humor that he often uses to woo the ladies, and his country drawl can make him to be quite the attractive cat. He is incredibly protective over those he cares about, and would give his life before seeing a loved one be harmed. He also loves his country home, and while he does tend to travel around a bit, he always returns back to his roots. Someday, this country boy even hopes to have a barn of his own to share with his future family. He just has to find that special lady first. RELATIONSHIPS:
MOTHER: Elizabeth – {light brown and white tabby she-cat with pale blue eyes; alive, lives in a barn with Felix} - OPEN FATHER: Felix – {fluffy gray tabby tom with green eyes; alive, lives in a barn with Elizabeth} - OPEN SIBLINGS: Buckley – {pale gray/brown tabby tom with yellow-green eyes; alive} - Silvery CRUSH/MATE: --- OTHER: ---
HISTORY:
Oakley and his brother were born to the young cats Felix and Elizabeth, who had settled down in a barn to live as mates. Lizzie’ s pregnancy was unexpected, but the two parents never regretted the arrival of their two baby boys. Felix and Lizzie instantly loved their kittens, though Felix kept a cautious distance until the two opened their eyes and weren’t so fragile.
Oakley and Buckley grew quickly, Oakley quickly taking his place as the bigger older brother. He would often lead little adventures out of the barn, where the two would simply have fun in their country home. He was the adventurous sort of kitten, often running into whatever looked fun without thinking of the dangers. He made sure to keep a close eye on his little brother, though, always making sure Buckley wasn’t hurt and always bringing him straight home to Lizzie if the other happened to get a thorn in his paw or get a burr in his pelt.
As the two grew older, Oakley started to show signs of the muscular and broad tom he is today, while his brother became taller and leaner like their father. At the age of one year, the boys finally parted from home and from each other. They had their own lives to live, though when they come across each other, their brotherly affection always shows. Oakley now roams the country, picking up she-cats every once in a while. He has several uninhabited barns picked out that he would like to raise a family in, and now he spends his time getting to know his country home even better and carefully exploring the surrounding lands. While he does find the wilderness and city to be interesting, he loves the laid-back and calming feel of his homeland.
