NAME: Oliver GENDER: 2 years AGE: Tom RESIDENCE: Country
APPEARANCE:
PELT COLOR: White MARKINGS: Dark brown snow-shoe points on face and tail, lighter brown and white patched fur, white paws and chest PELT LENGTH: Short EYE COLOR: Pale blue BUILD: Tall and lean OTHER: ---
PERSONALITY:
Oliver is quite an intelligent cat, often being the voice of reason and advice for his siblings. He craves knowledge, sometimes journeying out into the country just to sniff and identify the random plants or animals that thrive there. He is also quite adept at healing with the country plants, not that he ever uses this knowledge very often. But if his brother gets a scrape, he certainly knows how to fix it, and he certainly won't hesitate to help a stranger in need. Oliver is quite a gentle cat as well, certainly not a fighter by any means. He would much rather talk out a situation rather than fight to the sort things out. His unwillingness to unsheathe his claws isn’t always good, though, and he sometimes might need his brother to come in and defend him. He isn’t weak (well, maybe just a bit); he just prefers peace, one of the reasons he prefers the countryside over the city.
Oliver can also be a quiet and soft-spoken guy, preferring to sit back and watch listen to take in a situation rather than jump right into a decision or conversation. He certainly isn’t rash, but he can tend to overthink things, which can be just as bad in itself. Oliver is a very accepting cat, willing to trust and become with anyone and making no judgments about the other, whether about their past or current life. He may get defensive over something he believes in, but he certainly won’t be rude or mean towards another cat over anything. He’s just a nice guy all over, though one might argue that he tends to be too nice. RELATIONSHIPS:

HISTORY:
Magnolia and Freddy, while in love since childhood, did have a bit of a rough relationship. While Magnolia loved her mate, Freddy wasn’t exactly the most faithful of cats, though Maggie tried her hardest to ignore his little outings. She was pregnant as she reached three years old, and delivered the couple’s first litter of kittens. The two brothers, Cooper and Dominic, became their parent’s pride and joy, and Freddy even settled down for a while to help raise the pair. As the boys grew older, though, Freddy began to go out again, and Maggie decided that the best thing to do was to have another litter with the tom, just to bring him back home again. He had stayed put with Cooper and Dominic, right? So why shouldn’t he with another litter?
So she and Freddy mated again, and once more, she was pregnant with Freddy’s kits. This time, though, Freddy had gotten another she-cat, Zena, pregnant as well, and now he bounced back and forth between the two families to give attention to each of his kittens. Maggie was quite hurt, though, and she instead focused on her new kits, Mason, Caleb, Oliver, and Anastasia. Unfortunately, though, Freddy was struck and killed by a car while visiting Zena, therefore leaving both families without a father.
Oliver was only a few months old when his father died, so the sudden absence of the tom didn’t affect him too badly. He had a large family to make up for the absence, and Cooper and Dominic served well as father figures. He was closest with his littermate Caleb, and the two often stuck together through games and adventures that the family would go on. He also had a soft-spot for his sister, Anastasia, and while she got used to being around rough boys, his gentle personality made sure she didn’t become just too wild for a little lady. He grew up with his immediate family, not even knowing about the existence of his half-siblings. Not that he would care; the secrets didn’t make Maggie a bitter or terrible mother, and his kithood was full of love and excitement. Practically perfect.
As Oliver grew, though, he found that he didn’t exactly enjoy the loud and rushed city life. It just wasn’t for him. So when he was a little over a year old, he shared his desire to go to the country with Caleb, and the other cat agreed to leave home with him. It broke Oliver’s heart to see his family so sad at their departure, but he knew he had to leave someday, and there was certainly no time like the present. So they moved out, leaving the city to move into the countryside. After a bit of hunting, the brothers found a small abandoned barn and settled down to make it their new home. Oliver never once regrets the decision, the young tom enjoying the calmer and more relaxing country life. It isn’t a terrible life; he has his brother with him, and his family (especially Anastasia) often comes to visit him. Not the most exciting way of living, true, but the country can be quite unpredictable, and that adds just the right amount of excitement for Oliver’s life.
